Weekly Update: February 3rd-7th 2025

Hello Families, 

Welcome to February! This month, we celebrate Black History Month and the important contributions of Black individuals throughout history. We’re excited to share stories and projects from our classrooms in the upcoming Community News. Stay tuned for highlights and more!     

Our "Wear What Makes You Proud Day" was a big success! It was a fun and meaningful day as students and staff wore outfits that reflected what makes them proud. We want to thank the Student Leadership Council for making this event happen. It was a great way to celebrate  everyone’s unique pride!    

Congratulations to our January Shining Moment and Kindness Ambassador recipients! Their kindness, positivity, and hard work make a difference at Prince of Wales! We are so proud of them and grateful for the example they set for others. Keep shining and spreading kindness!

Get ready for an exciting Dance-a-Thon, organized by our Special Education team,  Mrs. Haight, Mr. Zaporzan, Ms. Mccormick, Ms. Koudijs and Ms. Maddison!  All donations and proceeds from snacks and food will go towards supporting items for our self-regulation spaces, helping create a calming environment for all students. Be sure to check the email sent earlier this week for more details and how to participate through School Cash Online. Let’s dance for a great cause!
