Weekly Update: November 4th-November 8th 2024

The students were absolutely thrilled to have their ‘shining moments’ celebrated at our very first recognition assembly! We were especially proud to introduce Prince of Wales Kindness Ambassadors, who received their shirts and are eager to continue demonstrating leadership through kindness. We can’t wait to see students proudly wearing their pink shirts! A big thank you to Mrs. Haight for stepping up and leading the assembly in my absence—your support made all the difference!

Coming Soon!

We will have a shining moments bulletin board outside of the office to highlight our monthly recipients!

A note from Ms Dionne and the Grade 6/7 students

Now that November is here, Remembrance Day is approaching. As a class, we want to acknowledge the courage and sacrifice of those who bravely fought for their country. To honour these brave soldiers we created agamographs.  An agamograph is a series of images that change at different angles. This 3-D/optical illusion work is named after the Israeli sculptor, Yaacov Agam. Each student took their time to create these impressive works of art to honour our brave men and women.

Remembrance Day assembly on Monday November 11th,

Beginning promptly at 10:45, families are welcome to join us as we will come together as a school community to pay tribute to those who have served.
